We have another amazing kiddo to celebrate this month for our spotlight! This is Jace and we are celebrating his victories! AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication and Jace received his AAC device 18 months ago, and he’s grown from a 20 grid all the way up to a 60 grid.
This device has allowed him to find his voice and communicate easier with his family. Nice job Jace and I know your parents are SOOOO proud of you!

🪽During our daughter's first few years of life, she Has had many struggles and mountains to climb with her health and learning disabilities. Through tremendous help and guidance from her therapists through @heart4kidstherapy and joining the Down Syndrome community with @friendsdownsyndrome we have met many friends who have shared the same stories. And not all families we have met have children with Down Syndrome. They have other special needs like Autism. We all share a similar story. Similar victories.

These kids are strong, Resilient and brave. But the resources for them are hard to come by.

🪽During our daughter's first few years of life, she Has had many struggles and mountains to climb with her health and learning disabilities. Through tremendous help and guidance from her therapists through @heart4kidstherapy and joining the Down Syndrome community with @friendsdownsyndrome we have met many friends who have shared the same stories. And not all families we have met have children with Down Syndrome. They have other special needs like Autism. We all share a similar story. Similar victories.

These kids are strong, Resilient and brave. But the resources for them are hard to come by.
